Volunteer with us

As members of the Recovery Connections team, our volunteers get involved in all sorts of ways. The opportunities available vary greatly from supporting the running of activity and support groups to supporting our administration and reception teams. Our volunteers also contribute to promoting recovery across a number of community hubs around Middlesbrough and helping host events.

We have been very fortunate to have had volunteers from a range of ages, backgrounds, cultures and communities over the years and we couldn’t provide the services we do without them.

From 2015-2016 our volunteers contributed over 7,000 hours of their own time, skills and experience to support our service and the people within it; we were very proud to be awarded Investors in Volunteering status in 2016 in recognition of our high standards of support and opportunity.

We believe volunteers are here to add value to Recovery Connections and we welcome anyone who aligns with our values and wants to make a difference.
